We were able to raise enough funds to complete Bendi's surgery on Nov 13th! She came home Friday and we will be handling her aftercare. Dr. Meeker commented he felt the surgery went very well and she is in great spirits, the clinic staff loved her! She will go back for re-check in a few weeks.
Bendi is now needing your help to correct the rotation in her left front hoof. We will be needing to put her on a special supplement (about $40 per month) and have some corrective farrier work (about $100 every 6 wks). Hello and thank you to all the people who helped us raise funds for Nora's eye surgery! She is recovering well and her sutures were removed this past Friday. Nora is already feeling much better, getting around well and adjusting to her new life with great ease!
