Bjørn Lomborg

The bad boy of the environmental debate since he published four articles in 1998 in a run up to the "Skeptical Environmentalist" in 2001. Soundly trashed, even dragged before the scientific inquisition in Denmark, no author on this subject has been more vilified. He has found support among the establishment press including the Economist, Time and the Washington Post and even the neocons and the big-oil lobby.

"Global Warming" people would have you dismiss his arguments and accept the cataclymic warnings of "An Inconvenient Truth" as a matter of faith. Opponents would have you accept a superficial conclusion that Bjørn renders the "Global Warming" people as environmental lunatics. I have some misgivings about clearing mental cobwebs with hand grenages; this may be an exception.
