  • height - temporary use tripod and mast. Longer term - select tree and scale. Have belt, need spikes.
  • radio - temporary RB133C in indoor case. Longer term - rootenna or weatherproof encloser
  • connectivity - router, WDS?
  • survey - scan horizon, take AP to Independence - Methodist Church, ball park, Wolf's hill

Perhaps the answer is to reach out with what bandwidth you have at hand. Can the HughesNet FAP be mitigated with dollars? Will neighbors add dial-up or satellite back-haul to a growing wireless network? Eventually, a volunteer network might reach terrestrial broadband.
